20 X 200 edition of “Moore Estates”

I just signed up to do a double edition of the “Moore Estates” project from extra images I found from the pile of aerial documentation neagatives. 20×200 is a great project that basically prices artwork in a manner that is affordable and approachable to a wide audience. Installation: September 19 – December 31, 2009

Matthew Moore’s sculpture, located in a deserted lot on North Fair Oaks Ave., is a completely self-contained and
automated sculpture that produces free organic vegetable seedlings for Pasadena community members to grow in
their own gardens. Each day the urban transplanter will produce up to 15 pods containing 4 seedlings in each pod. In
the end, the success of this piece is dependent upon interactivity with the community.
